ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstake is open to individuals who are age 18 or older and a legal resident of the fifty United States and District of Columbia. Directors, management and employees and their immediate families, their retailers, suppliers, associated companies and agencies are not eligible to participate in this competition.
ENTRY: To enter, entrants must complete all fields of the entry form, agree to receive our occasional free newsletter and answer the competition question. Entries may only be submitted electronically via this website. Only one entry is allowed per person per competition. Enter using only an email address subscribed and registered in your name. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. An eligible individual receives one automatic entry into the Sweepstake when he/she submits the requested information. All entries become the property of LatestBuy.
PRIZE: One (1) winner will win one (1) prize. The prize is one (1) Laser Star Projector with an approximate retail value of US$159.95. Actual value may differ at time of prize award. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by LatestBuy. No cash or other prize substitution permitted except at LatestBuy's discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Any and all prize related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes shall be the sole responsibility of the winner.
SELECTION OF WINNER: The winner will be determined by chance, through a random drawing from all eligible entries received, to be held on or about December 31, 2009. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified via the e-mail address provided upon entry, within 15 days of the drawing. LatestBuy is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify potential winner. By accepting and/or using prize, the winner consents to having their full name and location (town or suburb and state) displayed on this website and any other media chosen by LatestBuy, unless prohibited by law. If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 15 days from the time award notification was sent, the prize may then be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Delivery of the prize will be made within six weeks after the prize winner has been notified.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Should the specified prizes not be available at the time of the draw, LatestBuy reserves the right to substitute the prizes offered for items of similar or greater value. LatestBuy and their associated subsidiaries will not be liable for any loss or damage as a result of the winning and utilising of any prize by any entrant. The winner's details will be published on this website within 24 hours after the winner has been identified and notified. These terms & conditions are subject to change without notice.
As a condition of participating in this Sweepstake, the entrant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstake, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Washington having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participants' actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstake), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
