The H2O Water Powered Shower Radio is the world’s first water-powered shower radio. Sure there’s been water-PROOF radio’s before, but you probably stopped using that after the first lot of batteries wore out and you kept forgetting (or got preoccupied with your loofa) to change them. The H2O Water Powered Shower Radio attaches to your shower hose, so when you turn on the shower, you turn on the power!

If you’re unfamiliar with the concept of hydro-power, the flow of the water sets a micro-turbine spinning which charges an internal battery – this means that no disposable batteries are ever required AND that once you’ve finished your shower, your radio can keep on pumping out your favourite FM station. With a full spectrum FM tuner and one touch seek buttons, you can scan the dial and listen to everything from the news to weather to sport to punk to Pavarotti!

You don’t have to be an eco-freak to appreciate this clean, green, dead-clever eco-gadget. (Although it really does make you wonder why we were wasting precious resources for the last few hundred years, when the answer was there all the time.)
