What the Lightcast is all about...
Music has always been a multi-sensory experience – you can hear it and you can feel it. Now you can see it too! With the Lightcast Interactive Music Light Show.
Of course, you could "see" it before at concerts and clubs but this little gadget allows you to do it yourself in your own home, without the use of a 150 kilo roadie named Phil who has a serious case of plumber's crack (sorry Phil).
Connect it to your iPod or mp3 player (it fits most), home stereo system, computer or even your instrument and Lightcast syncs in, projecting a multi-coloured light show reflecting the beat of your favourite track onto your ceiling, or your walls – or tilt it to 45 degrees for the wash effect. At just 18 x 18 x 9 centimetres, you can take the Lightcast anywhere (again, no roadie required, sorry Phil) – just plug in the AC adaptor and you're away. It comes with a mini-remote, so Mr/Ms DJ you have total control – choose from four mix modes – Smooth, Flow, Vibe or Pulse which customises your light effects. Kewl!
Featuring 33 LEDs, an interchangeable lens/mirror, parabolic projection and adjustable attitude, it really is a really cool lighting system in a very small package.
Of course, Lightcast does not take away from your right to express your music through the use of your own unique, if not critically acclaimed, interpretive dance around the kitchen (Latest Buy supports all forms of self-expression, no matter how ludicrous)– we're just suggesting that |
