A top seller for months, the original Namco TV Games now has a sequel. That's right, all your emails and phone calls, begging us for the scoop, have not fallen on deaf ears...
...and we've gotta say, the waits been well worth it. The inclusion of Galaga alone would've assured us of this, but add Ms. Pac-man, Pole Position, Mappy and Xevious and you've got five reasons not to watch any more over-rated TV.
Still not convinced? Here's a bit more on the games to re-activate those memory cells - Galaga's the sequel to Galaxian, which means double fighters are possible, if you know how.
Ms. Pac-man's much more complex than the original Pac-man - apart from the inclusion of four different mazes, the ghosts do not follow pre-programmed patterns based on your movements, so there's no fooling 'em.
The pedal to the metal Pole Position is controlled by the joystick, but not left / right as you might first think - you steer by twisting the joystick, so there's a much greater chance of keeping your car on the bitumen and qualifying.
A tough and comfortable joystick, even tougher buttons, plug 'n' play connectivity with your TV - what more can a grown up kid possibly want?
