CD and DVD collections to be proud of generally take years of dedicated selection. After all, our choice in music, movies or games reflects our personality...and this certainly wasn't built overnight.

Given the effort we put into filling our CD and DVD racks, isn't it about time we started taking care of them? It's surprising how a bit of TLC's able to cure playback problems such as skipping, pixilation, stoppages and even un-readable disc content.

Think about it...how many times have you simply chucked your disks onto a nearby table, even stacked them on top of each other without their protective cases, or scratched your favourite music CD or DVD movie because you couldn't be bothered putting it back into its cover?

That's where the Restore-A-Disc electronic machine comes in handy. In a nutshell, this portable scratch removal machine cleans, buffs and removes scratches from the common optical media found in today's households - dirty music CDs, DVDs, data CD-ROMs, CD-Rs, CD-RWs, VCDs, DVD-Rs and even video game discs are all taken care of with this gadget.

Simply apply the included cleaning materials, pop in your disc and select "CLEAN" or "REPAIR", letting Restore-A-Disc do the rest.

Unfortunately Restore-A-Disk isn't a miracle cure for deep imbedded scratches from canine teeth marks or coffee burns, so you'll still need to be a little careful, but it does a pretty neat job of removing the surface scratches from your CDs and DVDs that tend to interrupt play, just after you've managed to mould your body into your couch.

So to restore your dusty titles or remove those unintentional scratches from your favourite music albums or movie titles, give Restore-A-Disc a go. It certainly beats tissue wipes.

Product Specification

Restore-A-Disk comes complete with instructions and all the accessories needed to repair or clean about 150 discs (cleaning, repair and polishing accessory kit refills are sold separately below). The unit is powered by a mains adapter (included) and measures about 540 x 240 x 380mm in size.

Please note: This product is a maintenance tool. It can remove surface scratches and dust from a wide variety of optical media discs, but may be unable to restore discs with deeper scratches. Some discs may require 2-3 cleaning cycles to optimise playback performance. We do not recommend that you use tissues or shirts to clean your optical disc media, as minor dust particles will, over time, be passed onto your player's laser causing disc reading errors.
