A Long Time Ago...well, not actually that long ago when you first caught glimpse of the Star Wars saga in a Galaxy Far, Far Away...sorry, probably in your living room, one of the things you wish you could have for real was Luke Skywalker's X-Wing. Well guess what? This is still a bit far fetched, but what we do have for you, right here, right now, are Star Wars Force FX Lightsabers.

From the moment you fire up one of these licensed movie replicas, you'll be gob smacked at how authentic each light saber feels, looks and sounds. The power-up sequence of coloured LEDs in the blade is deservingly impressive, even in brighter lit rooms...

...and because lightsabers are just as much about the sound as they are about the light, each light saber uses a number of motion senses to detect movement and clashing, and you guessed it, play the right sound effect, direct from Skywalker Sound.

With the gleaming metal begging for your double handed grasp, these are the closest thing you're going to get to the real thing (not that we know of a real one actually existing, yet)...

...and we know owning one of these means being able to show it off, so each light saber comes with a custom-designed display stand when you need a break from duelling.

Release the Jedi in you, or cross to the dark side - just don't blame us if you can't seem to call upon your telekinesis to grab your lightsaber from afar.

Product Specification

All Star Wars Force FX Lightsabers come complete with a custom display stand and are licensed collectibles approved and endorsed by Lucasfilm Ltd. However, they are not exact replicas of the movie props - electronic components necessary for the light and sound effects necessitate slightly larger hilts.

Hilts are made of chrome plated aluminium. The polycarbonate blades of each Star Wars Force FX Lightsaber can not be removed or retracted. Each Lightsaber is about 110cm (L) x 6cm (H) x 5cm (W) in size.

Five digital sound effects from Skywalker Sound (power-up, idle hum, swing with pitch change, clash, power-down) are driven by motion sensors within the blade. The power-up and power-down light effects are produced by a string of super-bright LEDs that ignite sequentially inside the blade.

3 x AA batteries (6 x AA for Mace Windu & Luke Skywalker Lightsabers) are required to activate the light and sound effects (not included). A fresh set of alkaline batteries should last several hours.

Please note: Star Wars Force FX Lightsabers are not toys. They are not suitable for children under 12 years of age and should not be used to strike others (no matter how tempting). Each Star Wars Force FX Lightsaber is produced as a collectible - although the blades are durable, they are not designed for fighting or duelling.
