It looks like plasticine – but it's waaay more than that. It's like play-doh on steroids!
 To explain it, we're going to have to go techo on you for a second. It's actually a dilatant compound – which means it becomes solid under the influence of pressure. So with no pressure, it behaves like liquid (it'll spread out on a flat surface). Pull it slowly, it'll stretch – pull it quickly and it'll snap or tear. Throw it, it'll bounce...or hit it hard and it'll shatter (kinda like that metal dude in Terminator 2)...
...and just when you thought it couldn't get any cooler – it does. It's also thermochromic...or for non-boffins, like ourselves, that means it changes colour when it changes temperature.

Hypercolour Thinking Putty ships in tins of around 90g (3.2 ounces) and is non-toxic.Colour Changing Thinking Putty is thermochromic - just a touch from your hands or a warm coffee mug will reveal a new, "hot" colour! Currently available in Twilight (pink / purple) and Amethyst (blue / violet).Please note: Hypercolour Thinking Putty is not recommended for children under 3 years of age as it may present a choking hazard.
