In today's metrosexual world of frothy lattes and chest waxing – the Wild West Gunslinger Game is the last bastion of testosterone-oozing manly "mines bigger than yours" entertainment (actually, it's suitable for ages 5 and up, so we rest our case).
The Wild West Gunslinger set has to be the best use of infrared technology this side of the Grand Canyon. It's so wonderfully simple. There's a log, two cans of campfire chow, two empty bottles of beer and a gun. You aim at the target, pull the trigger and presuming you've aimed it correctly - "pioowww", you'll hear the classic bullet ricochet and your can/bottle goes flying off the log! The bottles even break apart!  Now just so you don't want to go pulling it apart (you're such a kid!) – here's how this game of skill works. There's four infrared sensors on the log connected to four spring loaded plugs on top – when the gun fires and the aim is true, the beam releases the plug and off flies the can or bottle!
Get a posse of mates together and get the competition started! Who's the best shot? Who's quickest on the draw? Who can shoot from the furthest? (The infrared beam goes up to 30 feet by the way!) And of course... Who can come up with the best "this town's not big enough for the both of us" line?
