Description
Newspeak is a team-based game of code breaking and social deduction, set in a near-future dystopia. Playing as Mods and Dissidents, three to six players will give clues and break codes in an attempt to stay one step ahead of each other and determine the future of society.
Your country, 2029. The population lives in an augmented-reality bubble, policed by the Modnet corporation and their network of citizen Moderators, and shielded from the crumbling dystopia around them by rose-coloured filters. Angry at Modnets power and the true state of the nation, the Dissidents aim to hack the augmented-reality technology and inspire a revolution.

- The Dissidents use creative, coded clues in conversation to communicate the target hacking Locations to each other, without giving them away to the Moderators. Meanwhile, Mods are always listening, using their intuition and code database to foil the Dissidents plans and catch them in the Hack. Each team must try to stay one step ahead of the other and save the future of the nation as they see it.
